Quite a few members of our staff sit on the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) London Expert Panels – something we’re very proud of. Through these expert panels, our Associates have the opportunity to influence policy; drawing on our research activities and practical project experience.
The ICE London Expert Panels develop and communicate ICE’s messages to London’s government, industry and the public, regularly meeting with the Mayor’s Office, the London Assembly, responding to consultations and speaking to the media to ensure technical knowledge is available to those making decisions on the future of London’s infrastructure networks.
Ed McCann is chair of the ICE London Water Panel, chair of the ICE Best Practice Panel and a member of the ICE Low Carbon Infrastructure Panel.
Judith Sykes sits on the ICE London Water Panel.
Darren Ball is a member of the ICE London Energy Panel.
In the last few days, Jo Carris has become a graduate member of the ICE London Waste Panel.
