Mark Shayler


Mark has over 20 years of experience in environmental consultancy,  eco design and the circular economy. He has worked with some of the world’s largest and smallest businesses to help them redesign their products to do more with less, reduce waste, design for recoverability and recyclability, design for leasing and design for refurbishment. In total he has advised over 1000 companies, helping them to save a collective £100 million. He is working with Useful Simple Projects on delivering The Great Recovery workshops and on work we are doing with the TSB on reprocessing neodymium.

Mark regularly appears on TV, radio and presents at conferences. He is a founding partner of the Do Lectures, author of the book “Do Disrupt:  Change the status quo or become it”,  a Design Council Design Associate, a WRAP technical advisor and a MAS technical advisor.
