Euston Station

Network Rail
Development Strategy

Euston Station is one of 19 stations managed by Network Rail, and is the sixth busiest railway station in the UK. Under HS2 proposals, Euston will become the main terminus and a gateway connection to Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds.  Euston provides a unique opportunity to develop a prime city centre location and support wider regeneration in the Camden area.

We were appointed by Network Rail and HS2 to engage with a broad representation of the Euston team and delivery partners to define a vision, goals and objectives for the planned Euston Station redevelopment, to deliver sustainable outcomes.

We also worked with the team to establish an implementation plan that can support the delivery of the vision for Euston and guide the design, construction and operation of the new station and associated development.

A key part of our role was to work with the senior management team to consider the wider opportunities that Euston can bring to deliver social, economic and environmental benefit over the long term. This was informed by research and analysis of key trends to ensure that development is future proofed to changes in technology, climate, and demographics.
