Useful Projects worked with the University of Westminster to understand and ultimately reduce whole life carbon emissions and energy costs across their Harrow campus. Like most estates, it has grown organically and includes a variety of ageing and inefficient buildings, which provide teaching, office and student accommodation.
We advised on a suite of energy saving measures, and identified opportunities to enhance the health and wellbeing of students and staff. We have also been working closely with facility and management teams to review how existing maintenance budgets could be harnessed to upgrade the estate cost effectively.
