We have been shortlisted for ‘B Corp of the Year’

The shortlist for the British Business Awards 2025 were announced last week and the Useful Simple Trust are delighted to be among the top eight UK businesses recognised for ‘B Corp of the Year’.

In Association with Natwest, the Awards celebrate businesses making a real difference through innovation, leadership, ESG impact, and commercial success. Judged on their contribution to their workforce, industry, and the wider British economy, the finalists represent the very best of purpose-driven business in the UK.

As Useful Project’s parent brand, the Trust has demonstrated exceptional growth and impact over the past three years, embodying the principles of a B Corp while delivering outstanding commercial success. In 2024, we achieved recertification with a score of 123.3, marking a 25% improvement and exceeding our 2027 target by two years.

As one of the first interdisciplinary consultancies in the UK to achieve B Corp status, we reinvest profits into people, the planet, and our purpose of designing a more equitable built environment – prioritising regenerative design and incorporating circular economy principles into our work.
