The Museum of London (MoL) is a cultural institution which seeks to inspire a passion for the city by contributing to London’s international, educational, cultural, and economic agenda.

Useful Projects was appointed by MoL to conduct an audit of the Museum’s current approach to sustainability and engage with the leadership team to develop a robust strategic framework. This Sustainability Framework was then developed by MoL into a Strategy that included targets throughout its existing operations, and the transition to its new location at West Smithfield.

To support this work, we designed and facilitated a high-level workshop to engage the Museum’s Executive Board in creatively embedding sustainability values in their corporate strategy.

The workshop produced a roadmap for the MoL to adopt a triple bottom line-approach across all its delivery areas, and proposed strategies for its effective implementation.
