The report summarises the research findings and recommendations, providing insight into both potential future areas of growth and contraction, and help business leaders and development managers implement medium to long-term growth strategies.

Potential future growth

Our methodology comprised:

  • Conducting interviews with key stakeholders to understand the organisation’s business structure, strengths, and areas of expertise.
  • Undertaking an analysis of long-term global and national trends using the Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Legal, and Environmental (PESTLE) Framework.
  • Determining the implications of trends for UK built environment sectors in five to ten years based on future scenarios to identify which sectors could expand or contract in the long-term.

The output of the report included:

  • Summary of our understanding of the business, including its key strengths, weaknesses, and reasons for growth.
  • Summary of key mega trends and sector findings.
  • Recommendations for how the organisation could develop medium and long-term growth strategies across existing and new sectors, further to enabling conditions to do so.
  • Appendix with the full evidence base.

Overall, our research provided our client with recommendations into potential growth sectors, and strategies to improve efficiency in project delivery. By leveraging its strengths and staying ahead of market trends, the company can position itself for long-term success and achieve its growth ambitions.
