She holds a Master of City Planning from University College London, where her research focused on spatial mapping to inform local food system policy, and a Bachelor’s in Urban Studies and Sustainable Development from Barnard College. She holds Practitioner status with the Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Professionals (ISEP), and is working towards becoming a Chartered Environmentalist.
Prior to joining Useful Projects, Elizabeth spent several years in the United States as a community and transportation planner for the Atlanta Regional Commission, leading regional policy development, infrastructure appraisals, and public engagement.
Elizabeth works with public and private sector clients to develop sustainability strategies for masterplans and undertake place-based quantitative and qualitative environmental appraisals. As part of the Useful Projects team, she guides development towards lower-carbon and regenerative outcomes, driven by a passion for creating places where both people and the planet can thrive.
